Upload FIT Files to FitKeep
FitKeep supports FIT file uploads from Garmin, Coros, Wahoo, Zwift, and other compatible devices. You can upload files from your computer or pull them straight from Google Drive.
Where to get FIT files
Before you can upload, you need the FIT files from your device or platform.
Garmin Request a full data export from Garmin Connect using their official guide: How to export your data from Garmin Connect. The export includes FIT files for all of your activities. You can also connect Garmin for automatic sync so future activities appear without manual uploads — see Connect Garmin and Sync Automatically.
Coros Request a bulk export from Coros using their official guide: Requesting a Bulk Export of COROS Data. Coros will send you a ZIP file containing FIT files for all your activities. For a full walkthrough, see Add Coros Activities to FitKeep.
Other devices Most fitness devices and platforms (Wahoo, Zwift, Polar, Suunto, etc.) can export FIT files directly or through a companion app. Check your device’s documentation for instructions.
Already in Google Drive? If your FIT files are stored in Google Drive, you can pull them into FitKeep without downloading them first. See Add FIT Files from Google Drive.
How to upload
- Open the upload page in FitKeep
- Drag and drop one FIT file, or select files manually
- Wait for processing to complete
- Open the activity detail page to view charts and map data
You can also upload ZIP archives that contain multiple FIT files.
Add files from Google Drive
If your FIT files live in Google Drive, you can bring them into FitKeep without downloading them to your computer first. Connect Google Drive from the upload page or Settings → Integrations, then pick the .fit files you want to add. FitKeep only ever gets access to the files you pick.
For the full walkthrough, see Add FIT Files from Google Drive.
Why an upload might fail
- The file is not a valid FIT activity file
- The upload is a duplicate of a file already in your account
- The file is corrupted or incomplete
Tips for clean imports
- Export directly from your device platform when possible
- Keep original filenames to make activities easier to identify
- Upload activities regularly to maintain a complete backup history
